These Terms are provided by GoodCars Leasing Co., Ltd. (Unified Business Number 82878301, hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) and take effect when your company accepts them online and submits its information.
1. Corporate Program Benefits
Corporate Program customers may use the corporate code issued by the Company to receive corporate discounts at service locations throughout Taiwan (currently 5% off published rental rates). A dedicated representative provides one-to-one consultation and tailored plans. For long-term rentals, the Company is responsible for periodic maintenance, vehicle license tax, fuel fee and insurance. Rental charges are invoiced. Applicable vehicle types, quantities and actual prices are subject to quotations confirmed by both parties by email or in writing.
2. Eligibility and Authorized Drivers
Eligibility is granted after the Company confirms the application, and the corporate code will be sent by email. Your employees may receive the corporate discount by presenting either the corporate code or a company employee ID when booking or collecting a vehicle. Your company may add or remove authorized users at any time by email without a separate written agreement. Drivers must be at least 20 years old, hold a valid driver’s license and present identification when collecting a vehicle for verification. A booking made using the corporate code is deemed to be made on behalf of your company, and related charges are payable by your company.
3. Bookings and Cancellations
The vehicle type, rental period, pick-up and return locations, and rental charges for each rental are subject to the booking confirmation agreed by both parties. Vehicle availability depends on the Company’s dispatch capacity at the relevant time, and the Company will use reasonable efforts to make arrangements. Cancellations or changes are handled in accordance with the Company’s published policy; no fee is charged when notice is given before the applicable deadline.
4. Billing and Payment
Corporate Program customers generally settle rental charges and receive an invoice when collecting or returning a vehicle for each rental. Your company may apply for monthly billing with a representative at any time. Monthly billing is subject to application and the Company’s comprehensive assessment of factors including your company’s size, estimated and actual rental frequency, and transaction history. It is generally intended for companies using vehicles about 10 or more times per month; however, this is an assessment reference rather than an application threshold. Whether monthly billing is approved and its credit limit are subject to the Company’s case-by-case assessment and notification by email. Customers that have not applied for or been approved for monthly billing will continue to settle charges at collection or return, without affecting corporate discounts or other program benefits. For approved monthly billing, the billing period runs from the first to the last day of each month. The Company will provide a statement and invoice by email before the fifth day of the following month, and your company shall remit payment within 30 days of invoice issuance. Any question about a statement must be raised within seven business days of receipt; undisputed amounts remain payable when due. If payment is overdue, the Company will first send an email reminder. If payment remains unpaid after the reminder, both parties agree to return to settlement at collection or return and discuss payment arrangements until all amounts are paid. Overdue amounts may bear default interest at 5% per annum.
5. Insurance and Road Safety
All vehicles rented by the Company are insured as required by law, including compulsory automobile liability insurance, third-party liability insurance, and driver and passenger injury insurance, and undergo periodic maintenance and inspection. Vehicle damage insurance is also maintained, with the deductible for each accident capped at the amount stated in the plan confirmed by both parties. To maintain insurance coverage, authorized users must drive lawfully and avoid the following. If an insurer denies coverage as a result, your company is responsible for the related losses: driving without a valid license or after drinking alcohol; subleasing or lending the vehicle to another person; illegal use such as racing or transporting prohibited goods; or failing to report an accident or obtain accident documentation. In the event of an accident, immediately call the police and contact the Company’s 24-hour service hotline. Traffic violation fines, parking fees and tolls incurred during the rental period are payable by your company.
6. Vehicle Use and Return
Please use the vehicle with the care of a prudent manager. Unless the Company gives written consent, do not sublease, lend or use the vehicle for commercial passenger transport. Return the vehicle at the agreed time and location with the same fuel level and condition as at delivery. A refueling charge or other charge may be assessed according to actual circumstances if fuel is insufficient or the interior is noticeably soiled.
7. Term and Amendments
These Terms take effect on the date of acceptance and remain valid for one year. They automatically renew for one year unless either party raises an objection before expiry. If the Company needs to adjust service content or prices, it will notify your company by email 30 days before the effective date. Failure to object within 15 days after receipt of the notice is deemed acceptance; if there is an objection, the original terms continue to apply during negotiations. Either party may terminate these Terms by email notice 30 days in advance. Bookings made before termination remain to be performed as agreed.
8. Notices and Contact
Notices, statements and related documents may be delivered by email or through the Company’s system, using the contact information provided in the application. Please promptly notify the Company of changes to contact information.
9. Confidentiality and Personal Data
Both parties shall keep confidential price terms and the other party’s business information learned through this cooperation. The Company collects, processes and uses personal data of your company and authorized users solely to provide this service and comply with legal requirements, and protects it in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act. Your company may request access to, correction of or deletion of such data at any time.
10. Miscellaneous
Neither party is liable for delay caused by force majeure events such as natural disasters, epidemics or changes in government laws and regulations, and both parties will promptly discuss subsequent arrangements. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan). In the event of a dispute, the parties shall negotiate in good faith; if no resolution is reached, the district court at the Company’s location shall have jurisdiction as the court of first instance. If any provision is determined to be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions is unaffected. Both parties agree that electronic acceptance and execution of these Terms have the same effect as a written signature.
